As a California native, I’m lucky to have sin city right in my backyard. With just a short car ride through the desert, I arrive at this bustling city with endless options of food and entertainment! As covid restrictions have eased, many places in Vegas have opened back up making it an awesome place to take a short vacation. On my last trip, I stayed a total of three nights at the Venetian Hotel & Casino and had an amazing stay. The Venetian has easily has become one of my favorite hotels on the entire strip and I’ll tell you why below. Keep on reading!
Food, Food, Food
One of the main reasons I love staying at The Venetian is the endless food options. Whether you’re in the mood for a high-end steakhouse or more casual eats, this hotel has it all. There are tons of restaurants in the Venetian Grand Canal Shops such as Buddy V’s Ristorante, Wolfgang Pucks CUT, and more casual dining options such as Chipotle. They also have “Restaurant Row” that features even more restaurants and lounges! It’s all conveniently located on the ground level making it super easy to find. Check out this awesome NY Cheesecake Milkshake from one of their many restaurants, Black Tap. YUMMY!
The Rooms Are Luxurious
Another thing I love about the Venetian is the suites! The suites are very spacious, but more importantly, the beds are heaven on earth. I truly appreciate a hotel that has comfy beds and pillows so I can get a good night’s rest. They provide you with everything you would need on your stay such an iron, toiletries, and even TV’s in the bathrooms (it doesn’t get more luxurious than that). We love booking the Luxury King Suite on our stays here.
The Pools Are Amazing!
I really love the pools at the Venetian. There’s tons of seating and umbrellas plus outdoor dining options! I’ve never had a problem finding a good seat to lounge in at the Venetian. They always have some nice tunes playing and it’s just an overall great vibe. They don’t host any of those wild Las Vegas pool parties so you can expect the pool deck to be rather relaxing. They even have a secret Garden Pool on the 4th floor (this garden pool gets far less crowded than the normal pool area). Towels are provided complimentary of course and there are pool waiters walking around taking drink orders. Don’t forget your sunblock because Vegas can get very hot in the summer!
The Italian Aesthetic Is Off the Charts
The Venetian is Italian-themed and really outdoes itself in style and presentation. The hotel is very grand from the entrance to the casino floor. Not to mention the Venice-inspired canals that you can take a gondola ride in. You can also dine right next to the canals at the Grand Canal Shops. You’ll see beautiful Italian-inspired statues and artwork all over the hotel plus red and gold everywhere as that is the hotel’s signature colors. There are even nice art installations such as the giant LOVE sign and other photo-worthy spots throughout the hotel. Check out this beautiful flower wall next to the restaurant row 🙂
I just really love this hotel and always enjoy my stay whenever I visit. There are tons of things to see and eat. One honorable mention is the Venetian Canyon Ranch Spa and Fitness center. It’s huge and it really has all the fitness and spa amenities you can ask for. They even have a rock climbing wall! I one thousand percent recommend this hotel to any first-timers in Vegas and even the more frequent visitors 🙂
