What if I said you could make hundreds of dollars by selling your used clothes online? Selling clothes online is a perfect way to make passive income on the side. I will share all my tips and tricks so that you can start earning money today!
What app do I use? It’s called Poshmark
Since 2014, I’ve used Poshmark to sell all of my used clothing online and have made over $1,400 USD in sales! Poshmark is a marketplace for all used and new clothing. You can sell and shop in different categories such as Women, Men’s, Children’s, Home, and Pets! It’s user-friendly and has been my go-to app for selling my used clothing.

How does it work?
All you do is create an account, snap photos of the items you want to sell, wait for a purchase to be made, and ship the item. It’s convenient and fast! Within 2-3 business days, you’ll have your earnings direct deposited into your checking account. Poshmark does take a percentage of the sale but it’s worth it. They take care of all shipping fees, provide the platform, and have good customer service.
PRO TIP: Try to package and sell items that are in good-great condition. I also leave “thank you” cards in every package I ship 🙂 This can boost your seller ratings which in turn makes you a reliable or “Top Seller” on Posh!
Is it reliable?
I’ve sold many items and have always had a good experience using Poshmark. Buyers can rate the sellers, making it easy to view seller ratings. You may run into shipping issues, but most of the time it is out of your control and Poshmark will settle any shipping issues for you. If there are issues with your purchase, buyers can submit a “case” and it will be reviewed by a member of the Posh team.
