The Tulip Festival in the Netherlands also known as the Keukenhof Tulip Gardens should be listed as one of the earth’s wonders. With thousands of tulips sprouted everywhere, it’s the perfect place to spend a warm spring day strolling through the gardens. It’s breathtaking and such a beautiful place to take photos and appreciate the Dutch national flower.
When are the Tulip Gardens open?
Based on the official Keukenhof website, the fields are only open during springtime between March and May. They say more than 7 million bulbs are sprouted during this time making it a very unique experience and something everyone should do when visiting the Netherlands. If you’re staying in Amsterdam, the fields are only a short bus ride away!
Aside from the spectacle of flowers, there are other installations to visit during your experience plus shows.
