If you’re anything like me, you’re always on the hunt for awesome yet affordable skincare. The kind where you can grab during your Target run and know that it will work wonders on your skin. I have oily/ textured skin so finding a facial scrub that will gently exfoliate away all the dryness is essential. About two years ago, I found this amazing drug store facial scrub during my weekly Target run, which is the Acure Brightening Facial scrub (Allure’s Best of Beauty Winner)! It’s packaged in a bright yellow tube, you can’t miss it!
It’s only $9.99 at Target. Click here to check it out yourself. Let me tell you why this products is AMAZING. It’s the most effective and reasonably priced facial scrub I’ve used to date. It’s made up of sea kelp and lemon peel that will give your skin that ‘glow’ since lemon is known for its brightening effects. Plus it’s sulfate, paraben, and cruelty free (we love clean brands)! I use a dime sized amount about twice a week and I kid you not my skin always feels like butter after. I tend to have a rough textured nose (I’m talking white heads galore) and this scrub will remove all the gunk with one pass. It’s the right amount of abrasive for a facial scrub. It feels like it’s really cleaning my skin without leaving me looking like a tomato at the end.
I only recommend products I faithfully use and love in the hopes that you can get your hands on them too 🙂 Also, did I mention it’s only $9.99?! That’s a steal if you ask me. Higher end scrubs will cost you upwards of $30 or above so you won’t be breaking the bank with this one. I’ve been using this product for over two years now and it’s always will give my skin that much needed exfoliation. It also has a pleasant minty/kelp smell that smells good to me but thats just my nose preference. If you’re interested in buying the Acure Brightening Facial Scrub drug store scrub, click here.
